A Tree Sparrow looks back over their shoulder at the camera, sitting in a fork of twigs in a snow-covered, leafless bush. The Sparrow has a gray head with a red-brown cap and red-brown eye stripe, their back and wings a bright combination of warm shades of brown edged in dark brown and cream.

The same Sparrow stands up and turns their back completely to the camera, looking at something in front of them. One foot grasps one side of the branch fork; the other reaches across to grab another.
